  • Removing large-scale debris has the considerable effect in reducing amount of on-orbit debris, but has technical difficulties. Therefore, we divided into two phases and demonstrate step by to remove Japan owned large-scale debris.
  • We hold and lead discussions with international partners, aiming to develop a new business market.
  • Phase I mission demonstrate the rendezvous and proximity control technology to non-cooperative target and obtain images of long-abandoned debris, which is rare images in the world, to clarify the behavior of space debris (such as rotational motion/ damage on its surface).
  • We have released Request For Proposal (RFP) concerning Phase I mission on October 2019.
